About Kathy

What I Do

Making meaningful connections by design

I am a senior level Graphic Designer and Art Director based in Connecticut, with 20 plus years of experience working with large ad agencies, boutique marketing firms and small business entrepreneurs. Creating and collaborating with my clients to bring their brands to life through genuine, strategic design solutions, is what inspires me. I’ve worked closely with partners across various industries, including restaurants, financial services, CPG, non-profits and the arts. Together with my clients, we’ve elevated brand reach, connecting with consumers by communicating unique and compelling brand stories, strategically delivered across multiple touchpoints.

As a Creative Director, I’ve helped small to mid-sized businesses develop their brands, identity systems and supporting marketing materials. I freelanced as interim Associate Creative Director for a financial services marketing agency in Fairfield, CT where I collaborated with creative teams and managed the workflow for multiple new business pitches. Prior to that I had worked for the same firm as a Senior Graphic Designer, developing and executing brand and marketing solutions for the wealth management sector, for over 10 years.

I worked in Los Angeles for 15 years, both on staff and as a freelancer. I began my career on the West coast in advertising, becoming a Design Studio Manager for a WPP agency. I eventually worked as a Senior Art Director for top-tier CPG clients at an award-winning promotions agency.

Working on a diverse range of accounts in various creative roles has allowed me to continually build a repertoire of creative strategies, which I utilize to successfully reach client objectives and ultimately help grow their brands.

I am also an artist, and when I’m not busy helping my clients shine, you can find me in my studio, lost in a world of paints and brushes, or sharing my passion for art through teaching children. I’m always up for learning new design skills and technologies, or discovering new art mediums – because there’s always room to play around and grow.
