About Kathy
What I Do
Making meaningful connections by design
I’m a senior-level Graphic Designer and Art Director based in Connecticut, with more than twenty years of experience working with large ad agencies, boutique marketing firms, and entrepreneurial brands. What inspires me most is uncovering a client’s brand narrative and visual voice through a highly collaborative process—gaining insight into branding and marketing challenges, then translating those insights into thoughtful, strategic design solutions.
I’ve partnered with clients across a wide range of industries, including restaurants, financial services, CPG, nonprofits, and the arts, helping elevate brand presence through compelling storytelling and strategically crafted visual communications across multiple touchpoints. As a Senior Brand Designer, I’ve helped businesses develop brand identities, visual systems, and supporting marketing materials that bring clarity and consistency to their messaging.
Most recently, I led brand development and design execution for a portfolio of restaurants on Long Island, collaborating closely with ownership teams and stakeholders to bring each unique vision to life. Prior to that, I served as Interim Associate Creative Director for a financial services marketing agency in Fairfield, where I collaborated with creative teams and managed workflow for multiple new business pitches. Earlier in my career at the same agency, I spent more than a decade developing brand and marketing solutions for the wealth management sector as a Senior Graphic Designer.
I began my design career in Los Angeles, where I spent over fifteen years working with advertising and shopper marketing agencies, as well as nonprofit organizations. During that time, I served as Design Studio Manager within a global WPP advertising agency before moving into a Senior Art Director role at an award-winning promotions agency supporting top-tier CPG brands.
Working across a diverse range of industries and creative roles has allowed me to build a broad repertoire of strategic and visual problem-solving skills, helping clients connect more meaningfully with their audiences and grow their brands with purpose. I’m also an artist, and when I’m not helping clients bring their ideas to life, you can usually find me in my studio, immersed in paint and brushes, or sharing my love of art by teaching children. I’m always exploring new design tools, technologies, and artistic mediums, because there’s always something new to learn, experiment with, and create.
